Terms and Conditions

 

All clients are deemed to have accepted Carots terms and conditions upon completion of the booking form.

 

Health and Illness

We request all rabbits are vaccinated against Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease at least two weeks prior to your arrival date.  Please bring your vaccination certificate with your pet on the day of arrival.

There are currently no vaccination requirements for mini pigs.

To enable us to provide efficient care to your pet it is essential you discuss with us any dietry, behavioural or medical conditions your pet may suffer from and provide enough regular medication for the duration of their stay.

If your pet does require veterinary attention during their stay we will, where possible consult your veterinary surgery, however if we are unable to contact your vet we will consult our vet. Your pet will be treated under your name and address and all costs incurred will be passed on to you. We accept no liability in the event that your pet becomes unwell during their stay.

In the event your pet sadly passes away whilst in our care we will make every effort to contact you immediately and follow your wishes.

At Carots we pledge to care for your pet as if they were our own, unfortunately we cannot be held responsible for any injury, illness, loss or death to animals whilst on our premises. All pets are left entirely at owners own risk.

Your pet will not share inside or outside space with any other guest unless they are a bonded pair or group and are normally accommodated together. If your bonded pets need to be seperated for any reason, additional accommodation costs will be charged.

If your pet/s show signs of disease, illness or injury we reserve the right not to accept them for boarding. 

We require a suitable carry box for your pet to be left with us, this is incase your pet needs to be transported from hutch to run or the vets.

Abandoned Pets

If your pet is not collected within 7 days of the agreed collection date and you have not contacted us to inform us differently and we are unable to get in touch with you, we reserve the right to have your pet re-homed.

Booking and Payment

All provisional bookings will be held for 14 days, to secure your booking I require a completed booking form to be returned within 14 days of the provisional booking. On receiving your booking form I will email to confirm the details of your booking. If you have any questions regarding the booking process please feel free to contact me.

A deposit of £10 per unit booked will be required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. If for any reason you should need to cancel your reservation this deposit is non-refundable.

The balance will be due in full when you drop off your pet(s) or full payment can be made at the time of booking.

The daily rate includes the day your pet arrives at Carots and the day they depart.

We accept payment by bank transfer, cash or cheque (made payable to C Sherwood-Dawson)
